Our Tango evening will take place in the charming and historical Dutch Church in the heart of London. With its elegant architecture and stunning interior, this venue offers a unique atmosphere for our dance community. The beautiful wooden floors, paired with a top-notch sound system, create the perfect environment for an unforgettable tango experience.

Let Argentine dancer extraordinaire Fernando ‘Chucky’ Romero teach you the fun and power of Argentine’s other dances: folklore. Join to expand your knowledge of tango culture and have more fun when dancing chacarera in the milongas!  

The Poetry of Tango (Lunfardo talks) – Prepare to be amazed!

Juan Herrera will talk you through the meaning behind the Tango lyrics. You will discover how tango has been anchored in Argentine society, and the true meaning behind your favorite songs (prepare to be amazed!)

How to get there?

The Dutch Hall is in central London and easily accessible from all over the world.

By Plane

Over 300 airlines connect countless global locations to London daily! Major airports Heathrow and Gatwick are directly connected to the center of the city.

By Car

Driving in central London is possible, but we recommend using public transport due to traffic and limited parking. If you choose to drive, nearby car parks include NCP Finsbury Square and London Wall Car Park. Please be aware of the Congestion Charge zone.

By Train

If you’re arriving from within the UK or Europe:

  • St Pancras International (Eurostar terminal) is just 15 minutes away by tube

  • Liverpool Street Station is within walking distance (about 8 minutes)

  • London Bridge, Euston, and King’s Cross are all within 15–20 minutes by tube

By Tube

The Dutch Hall is located near several Underground stations:

  • Liverpool Street Station (Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan lines) – 8 minutes walk

  • Bank Station (Central, Northern, Waterloo & City lines, and DLR) – 10 minutes walk

  • Moorgate Station – 10 minutes walk

Prices vary depending on the pass you choose:

  • Full Solo Pass: £145 (includes all milongas + chacarera class and Lunfardo Talks for 1 person)

  • Full Couples Pass £270 (includes all milongas + chacarera class and Lunfardo Talks for 1 leader + 1 follower)

Yes, we aim to maintain a good balance between leaders and followers. We recommend registering early to secure your spot or in couple.

Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer yours to someone else. Please notify us so we can update their name on the registration list!

Great! Please give us up to 14 days and we will confirm you registration by email. We’ll ask you to pay the registration fee in full in order to confirm your spot.

There will be both daytime and late-night milongas, featuring international DJs and a top-tier musical selection.

 
 

No performance is planned for this event.

The event will be held from 22th to 24th of August, primarily around Liverpool Street, London. The exact venues for the milongas and workshops will be announced soon.

Day milongas usually start at 03:00 PM.

Night milongas start at start at 09:00 PM.

The event will be held at the charming and historic Dutch Church near Liverpool Street.

 

Liverpool Street is easily accessible by underground, train, and bus. It’s also conveniently located near Stansted Airport
